The District Grand Priory

To the web site of the District Grand Priory of Dumfries & Galloway.
This District consists of four Preceptories stretching to almost the full width of Dumfries & Galloway, from Lockerbie (Annandale) in the east, to Stranraer (Kirkmadryme) in the west, with Dumfries (Lincluden Abbey) and
Castle Douglas (Threave Castle) located centrally. From east to west, the Province spans over 85 miles. Founded in 1976, the District has a strong following from its daughter Preceptories, and is well represented at Musters of Great Priory. Visitors are most welcome, I therefore extend a warm and cordial invitation to you, to come and attend a muster within our District. Prior notification is unnecessary, in Dumfries & Galloway you will always receive the Christian hand of friendship.

District Grand Priory Annual Divine Service 2008 We can now confirm that the Annual Divine Service of the Dumfries & Galloway District Grand Priory will be held on Sunday 24th August at 2.30 p.m. for 3.00 p.m., within St John's Church, St John's Road, Annan. DG12 5EZ
Officiating Minister :- The Most Reverend Dr. Idris Jones,
Bishop of Glasgow and Galloway, Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church. Hosted by the Preceptory of Lincluden Abbey
